Church Reopening for Private Prayer from the 15th June

Following Government permission, and advice from the Church of England St John’s is delighted that we will be open for socially distanced private prayer from the 15th June.

After risk assessment, and deep thought, a space has been created at the back for a maximum of six people at any one time. We ask people to respect this and show restraint if needed.

Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance and exit to then building, and all chairs will be sanitised at the end of the day. In addition sanitiser will be available if people wish to clean their chairs before and after their visit.

The Church will be open.

Monday – Friday 10.30am – 6pm

On Monday – Friday the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for private prayer between 10.30 – 11.30. This is for private adoration and no words will be spoken or hymns sung.

Saturday 1pm -6pm

Sunday 12.30pm – 6pm.

We are delighted that we are able to move forward on this and will keep this under review.
