The Walsingham Cell
is a group that links St John’s with the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham in Norfolk. This has been a place of Christian pilgrimage since the medieval period. Pilgrims find the shrine to be a place of healing, a place where one can draw near to God and find spiritual refreshment.

Our Cell supports pilgrimages from our parish to Walsingham and encourages devotion to Our Lady. We meet together to pray and we seek to follow Mary’s example and to submit our lives to God, knowing that only by doing so can we fully be the people God, in His love, wishes us to become.

Our group and our pilgrimages are open to all, young and old alike. Why not come and join us to find out more?

Keep an eye on this page for details of our forthcoming events.
